Michael has over 20 years’ experience, working in both the private sector and local government on a great breadth of projects including urban design, open space, land development, play, signage, bicycle infrastructure and furniture design. He’s passionate about make a tangible difference to the city we live in by creating wonderful and engaging places and spaces for people to use and enjoy. He thrives on being able to take projects from their genesis as an idea; developing and evolving those ideas to meet stakeholder’s needs and wants; to finally seeing them being built and people bringing them to life! Outside work as a Landscape Architect, he loves cycling, particularly mountain biking is an enthusiast of mid-century design and is currently researching and collecting furniture and pieces designed by important and influential Australian designers.
